FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for dissolved air flotation. In particular, disclosed is a device for reducing pressure of water under pressure for purification of crude water by means of flotation with dissolved air in flotation plants equipped with a rotating partition or scraper for removal of floating contaminants. At that, said device is immersed in contact zone between pressurized water and untreated water to allow microbubbles to propagate directly into said contact zone. Device comprises at least one means for supplying water under pressure with at least one calibrated outlet hole, made with possibility of interaction with at least one actuating element for implementation of its displacement from the calibrated hole when passing above the flotation installation of a rotating partition or a scraper for elimination of floating contaminants in untreated water. Shutter is located at a distance from the calibrated hole, which provides the desired pressure drop and flow rate for water under pressure by means of adjustment and fixation of distance made in the form of nuts screwed on pipe with thread of water supply means.
EFFECT: simplifying the design of the device while simultaneously providing accurate and effective pressure reduction of the water flow in the flotation plant for water treatment.
