FIELD: environmental protection; production of installations for the floatation water purification.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the installation for the floatation water purification containing the coagulation area (1), the flocculation area (3), the mixing area (5) and the floatation area (6). From the pressure distributor (8), which generates the micro-bubbles, the ascending current of the flocculated water together with the water under pressure are fed in the mixing area (5). From the upper part of the floatation area (6) remove the substances being in the form of the suspension, which have got onto the surface together with micro-bubbles. The floatation area (6) in its lower part contains the clarified water intake system (9). The geometrical parameters of the floatation area (6) are selected such, that the ratio between the height (H) of the area (6) located above the system (9)used for intake of the clarified water, and the length (L) of the indicated area lays within the limits from 0.3 up to 1, and the ratio between the square (Sa) of the vertical section between the upper edge of the slant overflow weir (11) and the water surface in the floatation area (6) and with the square (Sp) of the floatation area itself lays within the limits from 0.05 up to 0.5, and preferably from 0.1 up to 0.35. The technical result of the invention is the decreased overall dimensions of the flotation installation, the reduced prime cost of its construction, the increased stability of the micro-bubble layer in the flotation installation.
