FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of nanocomposite materials based on active components deposited on a carbon base. It can be used in electrode industry for making electrodes in ionistors. Disclosed is a method of producing a nanocomposite material of the composition carbon matrix – nickel cobaltate, which is carried out by successive impregnation of the carbon matrix with a mixture of aqueous solutions of cobalt and nickel chlorides, as well as a solution of a precipitant – sodium azide, followed by removal of the solvent and thermal treatment. Used carbon matrix is multi-wall carbon nanotubes with total specific surface area of about 250 m2/g, outer diameter of tubes about 10-20 nm and inner diameter of 6-10 nm. Particles obtained as a result of thermal decomposition are nanosized crystals of nickel cobaltate NiCo2O4 with an average size of 5-10 nm.
EFFECT: simplification of the technological process of manufacturing nanostructured composite material, increase in the specific capacity of the electrode material.
