FIELD: nanotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of a nanocomposite material based on aluminum. Method comprises preparing the charge by applying a metal catalyst nitrate solution to the surface of aluminum particles and drying it, thermal decomposition of the metal-catalyst nitrate to the metal-catalyst metal oxide, reduction of metal-catalyst metal to metal in hydrogen medium, growth of carbon nanostructures on the surface of metal-catalyzed aluminum particles from the gas phase of gaseous hydrocarbons and sintering the obtained charge with hot pressing. Aluminum particles are pre-cooled to a temperature of at least -100 °C and then heated in a vacuum to a temperature of at least 300 °C for at least 180 minutes. On the surface of the aluminum particles, an aqueous solution of a mixture of cobalt nitrates and iron or nitrates of nickel and iron with a content of nitrates in an aqueous solution of 0.1–10 wt. %, and carbon nanostructures in the form of nanofibers are grown on the surface of metal-catalyzed aluminum particles.
EFFECT: increase in the quality and an increase in the length of carbon nanostructures, as well as the isotropy of the mechanical and thermophysical properties of the nanocomposite are ensured.
