FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to dentistry and particularly to a kit for preparing a dental restoration material, a composition obtained from such a kit, and a medical device containing such a kit. Proposed kit includes a first container containing a powder phase, comprising: from 15 to 98% by weight of the total weight of the powder phase of ultrafine calcium silicate particles, for which the d10 value lies in range from 0.4 to 0.8 mcm, d50 value lies in range from 0.7 to 2.9 mcm and d90 value lies in range from 1.3 to 7 mcm; wherein d10, d 50 and d 90 are determined by laser diffraction; from 2 to 35% of radio-opaque material by weight of total weight of powder phase; and a second container containing an aqueous liquid phase. Weight ratio of the powder phase in the set to the liquid phase in the set ranges from 2 to 5. Also disclosed is a dental composition obtained by mixing the entire contents of the first container with the entire contents of the second container in the above set, and a medical device representing an injection system and comprising said kit.
EFFECT: composition of the kit enables to obtain a dental restoration material from dental hydraulic cement containing ultrafine calcium silicate particles in the presence of a limited amount of water, so that the hydraulic cement quickly hardens, turning into a material having mechanical properties required for dental restoration, especially high compression strength.
