FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power machine building, namely, to production of closed monoblock monoblocs from titanium alloys, which can be used in small-size centrifugal pumps of liquid-propellant engines and in centrifugal compressors of gas turbine engines for light-engine aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles. Method comprises making cast wheel billet by vacuum centrifugal casting of titanium alloy into detachable metal mold, containing graphite embedded element for processing non-treated inter-blade channels and graphite rods for forming undercurrents on treated outer surfaces of impeller discs, at that, shaping surfaces of the mold are made with specified allowance of 2–3 mm for finishing of impeller disks, and graphite embedded element is made by hot pressing of graphite molding powder containing organic binders based on phenol-formaldehyde resin, then on CNC machines preliminary machining of impeller disks is performed with minimum allowance of 0.5–1.5 mm. Performing hot isostatic pressing (HIP) of cast billet by pressure of inert gas to eliminate internal casting shells in areas of blades with discs, pulsed argon-arc welding of local depressions formed on outer surfaces of disks in process HIP, and final machining on CNC machines with provision of exact sizes of disks and conjugated surfaces.
EFFECT: higher strength and operational reliability.
