FIELD: turbines or turbomachines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for suppressing pressure pulsations in a radial-axial hydraulic turbine. Method consists in the fact that water flow is supplied through hollow shaft 2 of hydraulic turbine and then through injector 8 located at the end of shaft 2. Threshold noise level is set in suction pipe 6, which corresponds to safe operating mode of hydraulic turbine. At least two acoustic sensors 7 are installed oppositely on inner walls of pipe 6. When the noise level exceeds the threshold level, the volumetric flow rate of water through injector 8 is increased. When the noise level drops below the threshold level, the volumetric flow rate of water through injector 8 is reduced. Noise level is measured in form of difference of noise signals from two sensors 7.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the hydraulic turbine operation safety.
