FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determining the optimal operating modes of hydraulic turbines. In the method, the creation of operating modes is carried out using a stationary vane swirler 9 and a forcibly rotating vane swirler 11 with a predetermined speed, which is rotated on a shaft inside the pipe. The torque from the external motor 13 is fed to the swirler 11 by means of a magnetic coupling 10 through a belt drive. Measurements are carried out in two modes: at a fixed fluid flow rate and at a fixed rotation speed. To determine the optimal operating mode of a hydraulic turbine with maximum efficiency, the rotation speed and flow rate are used relative to the zero-twist flow mode.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at providing the ability to reproduce the flow modes of real hydraulic turbines with minimal flow disturbance, the ability to simulate two-phase cavitation phenomena with a wide range of rotor speeds, providing a high degree of flow twist, with the ability to measure flow parameters in any section.
