FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to addictology, and can be used to suppress craving for alcohol. Method involves administering a preparation in the form of a guttural spray consisting of 30 vol.% birch sap, 30 vol.% viburnum berry sap and 40 vol.% australian maple sap, in amount of 1 ml daily for 30 days in the morning. Before using the preparation, the oral cavity is rinsed with warm water, and after administration, food and drink are not taken for 5 minutes.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables to reduce craving for alcohol due to interaction of active ingredients of the spray with receptors of nerve fibres of the laryngeal mucosa and uvula and their fast absorption through the mucosa, as well as minimization of side effects, particularly nausea, vomiting and headache.
