SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to the field of specialized book printing and is intended for production of special books. Method of making special books includes creating a draft model, developing a structure that takes into account the selection of tactile materials and versions of technical and artistic performance, further prepress of the obtained material for subsequent complex printing, decorative processing and final manual assembly. Development of the design involves the printed preparation of the turn of the sample, equipped with the traced figures of the detailed draft model, with cutting of parts mainly along pre-cut lines along shaped contour and with application of creasing along pre-prepared corresponding lines with subsequent gluing, obtaining a detailed turn pattern, on the working sections of which tactile materials are subsequently fixed. Pre-printing preparation of the obtained material for printing includes imparting a certain contour to the obtained workpiece material, application of creasing and perforated channels, relief stamping of the drawn images, selective UV varnishing. On part of basic images sound zones are applied, consisting in creation of independent layers and formations with production of sound areas with assignment of individual identifier to each of said area, providing the possibility of reproducing the embedded acoustic fragment by an individual portable sound reproduction device when touched. Method includes preparing typhlocomments and creating links with sound areas of selected images, combining information into a single sound file for recording in a portable sound reproduction device. Prepared material is sent for complex preparation and printing to obtain finished type of book spread with subsequent decorative processing and final manual assembly, including fixation of tactile materials on working sections of turn and folding of the latter along marked lines of creasing.
