SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to devices for installation of luminaires built into stretch ceilings. Disclosed is a tool for mounting the housing of a built-in luminaire, made in the form of two plates on a rod, where the first support plate for inserting the tool into the insert is fixed relative to the rod, the second setting plate is made with provision for movement along the rod. Rod is equipped with a limiter capable of pressing the mounting plate towards the support plate.
EFFECT: simplified process of mounting housing for built-in luminaire.
