SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopaedic dentistry, and can be used for making a temporary structure for implantation according to a one-stage protocol. Method for making a temporary crown supported on an abutment of a dental implant involves obtaining digital models of the patient's jaws and a computer tomogram of the jaws with separation of the dental arches and their loading into the dental three-dimensional modelling software. Virtual temporary crown is modelled taking into account the future position of the dental implant, and the temporary crown is milled using a CAD/CAM system from a plastic workpiece. Program creates a hole in the virtual temporary crown with a diameter exceeding the diameter of the temporary abutment of the dental implant by 0.55 mm.

EFFECT: faster manufacturing process and improved functional properties of the temporary crown.
