SUBSTANCE: disclosed are: systems for activating immune effector cells, comprising: a receptor polypeptide containing a mutein of the alpha subunit of the interleukin-2 receptor (IL2R) or a functional version of the alpha subunit of IL2R, and use thereof for the treatment of cancer, an IL2 receptor polypeptide comprising an interleukin-2 receptor (IL2R) alpha subunit mutein or a functional version comprising IL2R alpha subunits, for use in activation of immune effector cells in combination with a ligand polypeptide; polynucleotides coding IL2 receptor polypeptide and antigen receptor; transposon-based transfection system comprising a polynucleotide; a host cell for expressing a receptor polypeptide from the system; pharmaceutical composition for use in treating or preventing cancer in a subject. Also disclosed are: a medical preparation for use in the treatment or prevention of cancer, use of a polynucleotide, preferably DNA or RNA, coding a receptor or ligand polypeptide together with a cytotoxic T cell for treating or preventing cancer in a subject, use of cytotoxic T-cells for treating a subject suffering from a disease, disorder or condition associated with expression or increased expression of an antigen.
EFFECT: invention is used to activate immune effector cells.
