FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neonatology, and can be used to predict the development of neonatal sepsis. CD10 expression on mature peripheral blood neutrophils is determined by flow cytometry. If CD10 expression is less than 6.29 thousand fluorescence units, development of neonatal sepsis is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides higher sensitivity and specificity of prediction of developing neonatal sepsis by determining expression of CD10 on mature peripheral blood neutrophils.
