FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for measuring pressure and temperature in tires. Passive measuring device of air parameters in tires and angular velocities of vehicle wheels contains structural parts generating magnetic fields, pressure and temperature sensors, which generate magnetic fields when the wheel rotates in an external magnetic field, depending on air pressure and temperature, a signal generator installed near the wheel, wireless information transmission unit electrically connected to the signal generator, which determines information on air parameters, angular velocity and transmits information to the information display unit. Signal generator generates an external magnetic field, electric voltage, when exposed to the magnetic field of the structural part, used to power the passive units of the meter and determine the angular velocity, electric signals, when exposed to magnetic fields of sensors, used to determine air parameters.
EFFECT: measuring angular velocities and angular accelerations of vehicle wheels while maintaining integrity of the wheel rim and transmitting information from a passive wireless information transmission unit to a wireless information display unit without using electromagnetic waves.
