FIELD: compressor equipment.
SUBSTANCE: piston compressor with liquid piston comprises suction and discharge chambers 5 and 7, cylinder 1, cover 2 and liquid piston 3 arranged in cylinder 1, forming closed working chamber 4, as well as suction valve 6 communicating chamber 4 with chamber 5, and pressure valve 8 communicating chamber 4 with chamber 7. Valve 6 is arranged on cylindrical wall of chamber 4 at a distance from cover 2 of cylinder 1 for complete overlapping of piston 3 on part of its stroke.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing efficiency of piston compressor with liquid piston.
