FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compressor building industry and can be used in piston compressors with cylinder-piston group independent cooling. Compressor comprises cylinder 1 with differential piston 2 and two working volumes 4 and 5. Suction cavities 6 and 7 are connected with gas source and working volumes 4 and 5 through suction valves 8 and 9. Pressure cavities 10 and 11 are connected with gas consumer and working volumes 4 and 5 through pressure valves 12 and 13. Around cylinder 1 there is liquid cooling jacket 14. Suction cavities 6 and 7 are connected with fluid jacket 14 through heat exchangers 15 and 16, part of working volume of which is connected to suction cavities, located above coolant level in cooling jacket. Heat exchangers 15 and 16 are vessels communicating via jacket 14. Liquid continuously moving by heat exchangers 15 and 16 and in jacket 14 removes compression heat from cylinder 1.
EFFECT: decreased overall dimensions when using liquid cooling, its simplified arrangement, reducing specific costs for gas compression.
