FIELD: construction materials; performing operations.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to construction industry, in particular for production of ceramic facing materials. Method for decorating ceramic facing tiles includes supplying unglazed tiles to a plate conveyor through an inlet opening into the zone of action of a plasma burner, performing plasma fusion of the face layer of the ceramic facing tile to form a silicate melt, then, ceramic facing tile is transported into zone of action of second plasma burner, installed at distance of 300-500 mm from front surface of ceramic facing tile, and a decor in the form of glass microspheres from scrap container glass with granulometric composition of 0.63-1.25 mm is applied onto the molten metal formed on the front surface, then the decorative tiles are transported by a plate conveyor to the outlet opening.

EFFECT: high quality of the end product.
