The method for obtaining a pigment for wall ceramics includes preparing, weighing, blending the components of the charge and its subsequent heat treatment, grinding and controlling the dispersion of the finished product. When preparing the components of the charge, a finely dispersed powder is obtained from the scrap of sanitary-building ceramics, which has passed through a sieve No. 0056, it is mixed with the waste of vanadium production at a ratio of 1:3, and the charge is granulated with a granule size of 5-9 mm. The heat treatment of the mixture is carried out in a plasma reactor with a power of 24 kW, providing the formation of manganese vanadate colouring centres, which give the pigment a black colour.

EFFECT: accelerating the process of obtaining a pigment, replacing expensive raw materials with man-made industrial waste and reducing energy costs.
