FIELD: pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to pumping equipment used for pumping liquids in conditions of possible ingress of gas into the flow section of the pump. In order to pump fluid from the well bottom, a valve is placed on the tubing string, below which a vane pump is placed. At the same time the valve provides the possibility of fluid passage from the well bottom into the pipe space available above the valve during pump operation. Also, the valve provides the possibility of liquid bypassing in the reverse direction, if the pump is turned off, and the pressure in the pipe space above the valve exceeds the pressure under the valve by a given value, value of which is selected so that the valve retains the liquid column in the tube space. Then pressure is created in tube space above valve opening pressure in reverse direction and fluid overflow is provided in specified volume for gas displacement from pump cavity. After that, the pump is started in operation.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of starting a vane pump for pumping liquid in conditions of possible ingress of a gaseous medium into its working cavity, as well as reducing the probability of failure of the operated equipment during possible stops of the pump; in addition, the proposed solution allows to reduce losses associated with the need to fill the tubing string at each pump start-up.
