FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiovascular surgery. Octopus NUVO cardiac tissue stabilizer tube is placed one intercostal space above the anterolateral minithoracotomy, lateral to the parasternal line by 2-3 cm and located in a vertical plane relative to the surface of the left ventricle with the orientation of the working platform in the direction of the apex of the heart. Method allows eliminating the conflict of the Octopus NUVO device with the myocardium due to the larger space of the thoracic cavity. Stabilizer tube has a greater degree of freedom due to the vertical position, increasing the volume of manipulation with the vacuum platform, facilitates fixation of the myocardium in the area of any segment of the LAD up to the apex without contact of the tube with the myocardium.

EFFECT: introduction of the stabilizer is completely controlled visually due to the fact that it is located in the area of preliminary sampling of the internal thoracic artery, which enables to provide the optimal angle of the surgical field and the axis of the surgical action; enlarging the accessibility zone of the anterior descending artery without changing the surgical approach, optimizing the anastomosis conditions and ultimately preventing conversion.
