FIELD: hydrogen power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrogen power engineering and can be used in hydrogen generators for supplying hydrogen-air fuel cell. Hydrogen-generating composition contains magnesium hydride, aluminium hydride, copper (II) sulphate, sodium chloride, aluminium with granule size of up to 10 mm and water, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: magnesium hydride 3.0-6.9, aluminium hydride 3.0-8.0, copper (II) sulphate 12.3-15.0, sodium chloride 8.0-10.1, aluminium with granule size of up to 10 mm 3.5-9.4, water 50.6-70.2.
EFFECT: invention increases the amount of released active hydrogen and the rate of its release in the hydrogen-generating composition.
