FIELD: hydrogen production.
SUBSTANCE: composite catalytic material for producing pure hydrogen is proposed, comprising by weight based on alkali metal borohydride 6.0-20.0% cobalt boride, not more than 20% boric acid and not more than 10% Teflon powder, and a method for manufacturing the proposed composite catalytic material by mechanical mixing of the crushed components, with further molding of the mixture into a tablet form.
EFFECT: increased safety during storage and transportation of the composite material, which is used as an autonomous hydrogen generator.
