FIELD: household appliances.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of kitchen electric household devices, namely, to control of energy consumption of such devices. For this purpose, the energy consumption control system for a kitchen electric household appliance comprises a network power supply system, a reserve energy accumulation system and at least one controller. Controller is configured to determine the health of said energy storage system, determine the state of charge of said energy storage system, determine how energy from said energy accumulation system should be used based on a determined state of operability, a certain state of charge and at least one measured parameter obtained from the kitchen electric household device, and supply energy for operation of at least one function of the kitchen electric household device. Controller is configured to determine one or more of the following: i) how much energy to use from the energy storage system, ii) how long to use the energy storage system.
EFFECT: providing longer service life of batteries used in an energy storage system by limiting the depth of the power supply cycle during use and dynamic determination of duration/optimum duration of time during which the energy control system should be used.
