FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: lighting network (100) contains a plurality of lighting devices (10) that can operate with the AC power supply and the backup DC power supply if the AC power is turned off. The controller (15) is used to redistribute the DC power supply between the plurality of lighting devices (10) in the event if the DC power supply in one of the plurality of lighting devices (10) is minimized or outspent. The main controller (22) is configured to form a DC power distribution circuit. The main controller (22) further identifies the adequate DC power supply in each of the plurality of lighting devices (10) and controls the redistribution of the DC power to extend the light availability in at least one of the plurality of lighting devices (10).
EFFECT: increase of operational characteristics of the emergency lighting system.
