FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for simulating physical activity in small laboratory animals comprises a housing, a support element with a mechanism for changing the angle of the housing inclination relative to a horizontal surface, detachable individual boxes, an electric drive unit, a driving and driven elements, and conveyor belts. Detachable individual boxes are attached to the body so that they form an individual closed space above each conveyor belt. In the housing there installed are individual conveyor belt tension adjustment mechanisms. Each belt is arranged on the driving and corresponding driven elements so that there is a gap between the belts. Each driven drive element is individual for each conveyor belt. Electric drive unit transmits torque to the driving element, which rotates belts with tension of each belt independently. Individual mechanism of tension adjustment shifts and fixes the corresponding driven element to the position providing the required tension of the conveyor belt.
EFFECT: higher operational reliability of the device, reduced probability of slippage of conveyor belts of running tracks, as well as maintaining higher purity of individual running tracks.
