FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for inspection of vehicles using the result of analysis of magnetic anomalies. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that information on the vehicle, its state number and the location of the magnetic anomaly are pre-entered into the database, in addition, it further comprises stages of recognition of registration numbers, analysis of mutual location in inspected area of seats, where magnetic field change is recorded, and places where, according to available data before inspection, presence of own sources of magnetic field for vehicle with recognized license plates can be expected, in case of mismatch between the point of operation of the ferroprobes and the location of the vehicle magnetic field sources, a decision is made that an external source of magnetic field is installed at the point of operation of the ferroprobe.

EFFECT: exclusion of data obtained due to false actuations of control equipment (ferroprobes) from inspection results of a vehicle.
