FIELD: means of transport industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to maintenance, re-equipment of vehicles and can be used for inspection of the bottom of vehicles, namely units and assemblies. To detect radio transmitting devices on the bottom and body parts of the vehicle, electromagnetic radiation is detected in the area of the bottom and body parts of the vehicle and the data obtained is compared with the data corresponding to the reference state of the investigated parts. To obtain data on electromagnetic radiation, an electromagnetic radiation indicator is used, operating in the frequency range from 0.03 Hz to 3 GHz, the survey is carried out continuously, the comparison takes place without the participation of the operator. The device for detecting electromagnetic radiation in the area of the bottom includes at least one indicator of the electromagnetic field connected to the data processing system by means of a wire, the principle of operation of the device used for detecting electromagnetic radiation in the area of the bottom and body parts is based on the use of electromagnetic radiation in the frequency range from 0.03 GHz up to 3 GHz.
EFFECT: simple and reliable control of the presence of an object containing radio transmitting devices on the bottom and body parts of the vehicle is achieved.
