FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry. Disclosed is a catalyst for selective hydrogenation of alkynes, in which the catalyst support is aluminium oxide or aluminium oxide accounts for 80% or more of the support and has a bimodal pore size distribution. Size of small pores is 15-50 nm, and size of large pores is 80-500 nm. Catalyst contains at least Pd, Ni and Cu, wherein in terms of 100% by weight of support, content of Pd is 0.03-0.1%, content of Ni is 0.5-5%, weight ratio of Cu to Ni is 0.1-1.0:1.0. Ni, Cu and part of Pd are obtained from microemulsion. Diameter of microemulsion particles is not less than maximum size of small pores, and not more than maximum size of large pores. Invention also discloses a method of producing the catalyst, a method for selective hydrogenation of alkynes in the C2 fraction and a method for selective hydrogenation of the C2 fraction.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables to obtain a catalyst with good anticoke properties, which can maintain good hydrogenation activity and excellent selectivity for a relatively long time.
