FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of porous materials from bronze powder. It can be used in production of filter elements for fine cleaning of air and aggressive gases, as well as for cleaning of hydraulic fluids. Tin bronze powder is mixed with particle size in the range of -0.16+0.1 mm, tin content of 8-11 %, carbon fibre with diameter of 6-10 mcm and average length of sections of 40-70 mcm, in ratio of 5-15 wt. % to total charge volume, and binder. Sintering is carried out in an atmosphere of endothermic gas at temperature of 840-850 °C for 60-70 minutes.
EFFECT: high strength characteristics of the porous material without reducing porosity, pore size and permeability.
