FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to an air recirculator. Recirculator comprises housing accommodating UV radiation source, reflecting plates, inlet and outlet branch pipes and filter. Recirculator includes separate sections in the form of rectangular parallelepipeds, with an open face of one of the bases, a hole for passage with a technological gap of the UV radiation source and an opening for air flow on the other base. Separate sections are fixed on guides and connected to each other with formation of UV radiation inside a zigzag-shaped channel passing through the source. Fan is installed on the inlet branch pipe for air intake from the room and air supply, with envelopment of the reflecting plate, into the zigzag channel formed by separate sections. At the outlet branch pipe there is a fan for supply of air from the zigzag-shaped channel on the trajectory to the filter made with the possibility of trapping the decontaminated particles and further supply of air into the room. Recirculator is configured to seal the process gap of the UV radiation source between the UV radiation source and the face of the rectangular parallelepiped with a movable spring-loaded sealing ring mounted on the UV radiation source.

EFFECT: providing sufficient time of continuous exposure to ultraviolet radiation on viruses and contaminant particles, which increases efficiency of decontaminating air and particles of contaminants in the air inside the recirculator and simplifying the design of the recirculator.
