SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for air disinfection by bactericidal ultraviolet radiation in enclosed spaces, where it is necessary to constantly maintain aseptic conditions in the presence of people. The device for air disinfection by ultraviolet radiation contains: a hollow body with inlet and outlet windows; an air duct formed in the housing cavity connecting the inlet and outlet windows; means for creating an air flow mounted in the inlet window of the hollow body; a disinfection chamber formed in the duct cavity; source of bactericidal radiation placed in the disinfection chamber; fiber filter material installed with the possibility of irradiating its surface with bactericidal radiation. At the same time, the fiber filter material is located in the disinfection chamber, the source of bactericidal radiation is installed in the disinfection chamber opposite the fiber filter material with the possibility of direct irradiation of its entire surface, the means for creating an air flow is located in the inlet window and configured so that the formed air flow is directed to the surface of the fiber-filtering material at an angle Ф, the value of which is selected from the inequality: 30°<Ф<60°, where: Ф is the angle between the direction of the air flow and the surface of the fiber-filtering material, and the ratio of the area of the inlet window and the cross-sectional area of the air duct is selected from the expression: Sв>Sк, where: Sв is the cross-sectional area of the air duct, Sк is the area of the inlet window.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the efficiency of air disinfection.
