FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: drive system for a forage harvester comprises a drive motor, a transfer box, a conditioning device and an ejection accelerator, and at least one hydraulic pump, driven by a drive motor and made with possibility of hydraulic drive of hinged device and/or retractor. Transfer box is driven by a drive motor and comprises a driven pulley mounted on a drive shaft of the transfer box and configured to drive, by means of the main drive belt, at least one main pulley of the rotating knife drum located on the end of the knife drum shaft. Driven pulley, the main drive belt and the main pulley form the main drive mechanism for the knife drum drive, the conditioning device and the ejection accelerator. Both hinged device and retractor are made with possibility of being driven by separate drive mechanism. There is at least one cardan shaft located on the side of the main driving mechanism and located in one vertical plane with the main driving belt. Forage harvester comprises said drive system.
EFFECT: compact design of drive system and possibility to drive a wide range of hinged device in various operating modes, including reverse function.
