FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: drive system of a self-propelled combine harvester comprises a main drive pulley driven on one side of the combine harvester by an internal combustion engine, wherein a drive for a device for separating residual grain and chaff from the first transmission mechanism is provided from said pulley, wherein the main drive pulley, the first transmission mechanism and the second transmission mechanism are part of the first main belt transmission, wherein the first transmission mechanism is configured to directly drive, by means of the first belt transmission, a residual grain separator and to drive, by means of a second belt transmission, a chopper, the second transmission mechanism being connected to the drives of the hinged harvesting assembly and the cleaning device configured for torque transfer.
EFFECT: invention ensures operational reliability of the drive of the device for separating residual grain, straw cutters and powerful hinged harvesting assemblies, enables to obtain a high power density in a compact installation space and achieve higher efficiency due to the high coefficient of belt use.
