FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, in particular to devices facilitating removal of excess tops of construction piles, which have not entered the ground to the specified depth. Method for cutting off tops of concrete construction piles consists in the fact that excess tops of piles that have not entered the ground to a given depth are removed using an electrohydraulic effect, for this purpose, around the pile on its upper removable end, a collapsible round-shaped bath is installed and fixed, made with possibility of its halves expansion on the hinge and these halves clamping on the pile, and also equipped with a platform from dielectric material, fixed on the upper edge of this bath, on which, in its turn, a coil with copper wire is fixed, which rotates around its axis. Inside the collapsible bath, half-rings are welded for passage of copper wire under a layer of water so that the height of the water level in the bath above the copper wire is within 30-40 cm, wherein said wire is placed on the pile around the point of cutting off the excess top from the base of the pile and fixed in the clamps to which the wires of the high-voltage line are connected. Bath is filled with water, after which a thermal explosion is formed by supplying an electric pulse with voltage of 10 kV to the ends of the copper wire from the electrical installation, as a result of which the copper wire is heated to a temperature which leads to its evaporation and evaporation of the water surrounding the wire, converting the water into superheated steam, which in turn leads to a sharp increase in steam pressure in the channel remaining in the liquid after evaporation of the copper wire, and the effect of this pressure on the pile body, forming a primary shock wave. After that steam is cooled and steam channel in liquid collapses, generating secondary hydraulic impact, leading to concrete spalling along location of copper wire, and exposed reinforcement inside pile is cut off and excess, upper part of concrete pile is removed.
EFFECT: reduction of labour intensity of works on cutting off superfluous tops of piles during construction of residential and industrial buildings and structures, increase of efficiency of these works, that is reduction of time for execution of manipulations.
