FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military equipment and concerns an optical-electronic homing head (HH) of guided missiles. Design of the optical-mechanical unit of the HH is made in the form of a fixed structure fixed along the longitudinal axis of the rocket, a fairing of the optical-mechanical unit made in the form of an aspherical convex-concave lens serving as an afocal attachment. Optical-mechanical unit of the HH together with the fairing – an afocal attachment – is made according to the scheme of a distortion wide-angle lens with an optical matrix in its focus. Optical scheme of the output window of the optical-mechanical unit of the HH is made according to the scheme of a telecentric lens. Multi-element digital optical matrix is used to measure the angular position of the target relative to the longitudinal axis of the missile in the course and pitch planes.
EFFECT: simplifying the design of the device, providing sighting of the target at large angles relative to the structural axis of the missile, reducing the size of the fairing and enabling use of the HH on supersonic missiles.
