SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for changing the orientation of the field of view and can be applied in on-board target coordinators (homing heads) of guided missiles. The proposed device for changing the orientation of the field of view of the homing head is based on making the load-bearing structure of the homing head in the form of a ball bearing mounted on a concave base; a magnetic fluid is introduced into the gap between the support and the base, held in the gap by a pair of soft magnetic and pre-magnetized, hard magnetic materials, whereas the system axes coordinates of the homing head is fixed relative to the axes of the rocket coordinate system by making a pair of a ball joint and a concave base according to the scheme of a hinge of equal angular velocities with centring balls installed in the cage in dividing grooves made symmetrically in the ball joint and the base.
EFFECT: linearity in the dependence of the installation angle of the instantaneous field of view on the deviation angles of the suspension axis in two planes with a significant reduction in the total weight of the homing head structure and an increase in the bearing support area without reducing the aperture of the lens or antenna of the homing head relative to the calibre of the rocket, which allows simplifying the structure of the algorithms missile homing, increase guidance accuracy and proportionally raise the maximum launch and radial overloads of the missile.
