FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to maxillofacial surgery. Mouth mucosa enclosing the defect is incised. Mucous-submucosal nasal flap is mobilized along the border of the defect. Edges of the submucosal nasal flap are turned towards the nasal cavity to form a nasal lining. Mucous-submucosal palatal flap is mobilized. Buccal mucous muscular flap is lifted on buccal artery. Following boundaries are adhered to: the upper one – at least 0.5 cm away from the papilla of the parotid excretory duct, the anterior one – at least 1 cm behind the corner of the mouth, the lower one – not more than 4 cm below the upper border, posterior border corresponds to pterygomandibular fold. Mucous membrane and a buccal muscle are incised along the upper, anterior and lower borders of the flap to the level of the buccal-pharyngeal fascia. Buccal mucous-muscular flap is rotated to the area of the palatal defect and sutured to the edges of the palatal flap along the defect perimeter so that the neurovascular pedicle of the buccal mucous-muscular flap passes behind the upper jaw tuber.

EFFECT: method enables reducing the number of surgical injuries accompanying the elimination of palate defects, reducing the risk of developing postoperative inflammatory complications.
