FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in free piston Stirling engines. Cooling unit of free piston Stirling engine contains cooling device with isolated flow divider (20). Flow divider (20) is configured to prevent heat exchange between formed inlet and outlet channels. Efficiency of heat removal is provided with simultaneous exclusion of influence on temperature of movable working medium. Moving working medium passes through the first channel through inlet (4) from the available expansion volume with maximum temperature limit. Through outlet (5) the movable working medium enters the available compression volume with minimum temperature limit. Moving working medium passes through the second channel from the available compression volume with minimum temperature limit to the available expansion volume with maximum temperature limit.
EFFECT: increased heat removal from cooler.
