FIELD: laser equipment.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to laser technology and can be used to create laser sources in the infrared range. Method for parametric amplification of radiation of a laser source in the infrared range involves using a single-resonance three-mirror ring parametric light generator (PLG) based on zinc germanium phosphide – ZnGeP2 (ZGP) due to injection of amplified radiation into PLG coaxially with pumping radiation and double passage through nonlinear optical crystal (NOC). In single-resonance generation mode, feedback and amplification in the PLG resonator is provided only on one of the parametric waves. Conjugated with it, another wave of parametric three-frequency interaction, amplified due to the resonating first wave, can freely leave the resonator.
EFFECT: efficient parametric amplification of radiation of an external source of infrared (IR) range with a narrow spectral line.
