FIELD: laser equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device includes a pumping source based on a thulium fiber laser, a Ho3+:YAG crystal laser and annular 4-mirror parametric light generator (PLG) based on a nonlinear optical ZGP crystal. In thulium fiber laser, pumping current is controlled, and inside laser resonator on Ho3+:YAG crystal, acousto-optical modulator is used, which provides formation of a pulse-periodic sequence of generation packs with high-frequency filling. PLG annular resonator is formed by dielectric mirrors with reflection only for signal wave, optical scheme of which provides good matching of spatial structures of the generation mode and the pumping beam.

EFFECT: obtaining medium-infrared radiation in high-quality beams with high pulse repetition rate at high pulse energy and amplitude stability.
