FIELD: performing operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial equipment for application of text and graphic information on product packaging, on the product itself. Device for marking goods comprises a housing located on a post for attachment to a conveyor, inside of which there is a base, on which are fixed: an etiquette tape printing unit, consisting of a thermal head, a rubberised etiquette tape broaching shaft, a ribbon, mechanism for pressing the shaft to the thermal head, an etiquette tape gap sensor, an etiquette tape width adjustment mechanism, a stepper motor; unit for drawing and winding the ribbon, made in the form of a non-rotating shaft; used etiquette tape automatic winding unit, consisting of a rotating shaft with a bushing for the used tape attached to it and an electric drive; infrared diffuse-reflective sensor; a control module consisting of a processor module, an input/output module, a power supply circuit; user interface module, power supply module. Device also has an etiquette tape supply unit in the form of an external non-rotating shaft with an independent control system, which is equipped with an electric drive and a damping mechanism.

EFFECT: creation of a universal and reliable device for printing and gluing labels on goods (marking), which are moving along a conveyor belt, which ensures fast and efficient operation.
