FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to methods of controlling energy-converting equipment as part of autonomous electrotechnical complexes with renewable energy sources. Proposed method of controlling bidirectional energy transfer between a first circuit and a second circuit, wherein the first circuit comprises a power supply comprising a step of transmitting electrical energy from the first circuit to the second circuit in a first mode of operation in accordance with the presence of unused energy in the first circuit, and a step of transmitting electrical energy from the second circuit to the first circuit in a second operating mode in accordance with the absence of energy in the first circuit, wherein the bidirectional DC-to-DC converter increases the power transmission voltage UDC at the connection point of the two circuits and conducts transmission at an optimum level in terms of losses.
EFFECT: reduction of electrical conductivity losses.
