FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to a method of charging a set of accumulator batteries in an autonomous power supply system of a spacecraft, and can be used in operation of a set of accumulator batteries, mainly lithium-ion or nickel-hydrogen in autonomous power supply systems of spacecrafts. Proposed charging method provides charging of the whole set of accumulator batteries in case of insufficient value of redundant power of solar battery and includes charge of each accumulator battery from common source of limited power through individual charging converters, with control of current state of charge and control of minimum levels of charge currents, at that, with reduction of said parameters in any battery of the set below the specified value, charging the entire set of storage batteries is stopped, and continuation of charging of accumulator batteries is carried out in turns, also in case of reduction of solar battery power to value of insufficient for alternate charging of any accumulator batteries, include mode of limited power of load, which provides charging current of data of storage batteries to required optimal values, wherein the current state of charging of lithium-ion accumulator batteries with a positive cathode based on lithiated iron phosphate is monitored by the difference between constant voltage and voltage under a pulsed load on the battery.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is improvement of reliability and efficiency of operation of a set of accumulator batteries as part of an autonomous power supply system of a spacecraft.
