FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, in particular to pressure transducers, and can be used in various fields of science and technology related to measurement of differential and excess pressure. Device has a housing in which there are chambers: receiving, protective, compensation and measuring. These chambers are interconnected by flow channels, hydraulic throttles and are filled with low-compressible electrically insulating liquid. Intake chambers are sealed by pressure-sensitive separating membranes arranged with clearance relative to shaped bases. At the outlet of each receiving chamber a hydraulic throttle is installed, which reduces the rate of pressure growth in the protective chamber. In the protective chamber there is a hydraulic throttle transmitting pressure to the compensation chamber and made in the form of two throttling holes (central and annular), in which the direction of fluid movement changes by 180°. In the compensation chamber there is a membrane which limits the rate of pressure rise in the measuring chamber, in which there are strain gages of differential and excess pressure.
EFFECT: protection of sensitive elements (strain gauges) at action of overloading pressures, both static and abrupt pressure surges.
