FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science, in particular to agents for increasing milk production of cows. Method for increasing milk productivity of cows involves introduction of dry phytoextact of Helianthus tuberosus (topinambur) into the feedstuff in the following ratio of components: 100 kg of mixed fodder, 1.5 kg of topinambur extract for 20 days. For the study by the analogue group method, 3 groups of animals (1 control and 2 experimental), 6 animals in each group, were formed. Control group of cows received only the basic ration. For the first experimental group, a dry extract based on Helianthus tuberosus (topinambur) was introduced into the main diet in the following ratio of components: 100 kg of mixed fodder, 1.5 kg of topinambur extract for 20 days. In the second experimental group – 100 kg of feedstuff + 2 kg of Helianthus tuberosus (topinambur) extract for 20 days. In the first experimental group, the glucose content decreased by 23.1% as compared to the control group, and by 12.8% in the second experimental group. While the specified parameters are within the reference values. In the first experimental group, total protein content decreased by 5%, carotene content increased by 41.6%. In the second experimental group, the total protein content decreased by 6.8%, the carotene content increased by 19.4% as compared to the given values at the end of the experiment in the control group. Thus, introduction of dry phytoextract based on Helianthus tuberosus (topinambur) into animal feed improves physiological and biochemical status of organism. Introduction of Helianthus tuberosus (topinambur) phytoextract into cows ration in the following proportions: 100 kg of feedstuff + 1.5 kg of topinambur extract and 100 kg of feedstuff + 2 kg of topinambur extract during 20 days promoted increase of their productivity on average from 8.2 to 9.8%. Productivity increased approximately equally in both experimental groups, therefore it is economically feasible to introduce into the cows ration the phytoextract of Helianthus tuberosus (topinambur) in the following ratio of components: 100 kg of feedstuff, 1.5 kg of topinambur extract for 20 days.
EFFECT: invention provides higher milk productivity of cows.
