FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing a dressing based on chitosan, zinc oxide and silver, wherein atomic layer deposition is used to grow thin ZnO films after preliminary preparation of organic substrates, for which 0.02 g of chitosan powder is dissolved in 1 ml of 2 % acetic acid solution, centrifuged for 30 minutes at 1,000 rpm for more thorough mixing; then the obtained solution is applied on a slide of size 10×10 mm, then dried at room temperature for 24 hours; after which the obtained substrate is subjected to processing by the fourth harmonic λ=266 nm nanosecond laser system Nd:YAG with pulse energy 50 mJ, lamp frequency 20 Hz and pulse repetition frequency 10 Hz; further, ZnO is deposited on the obtained structure by atomic layer deposition at temperature of 80 °C with thickness of 30 nm using diethylzinc precursors Zn(C2H5)2 and deionised water H2O; then 7 nm Ag is sputtered by magnetron deposition.
EFFECT: present invention provides higher antimicrobial and antibacterial properties of the dressing.
