FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for increasing the shelf life of a food product in a packaging material involves placing the food product in a packaging material and storing it at a temperature of 4°C. Moreover, a polypropylene food container is used as a packaging material, on the surface of which at a preliminary seed layer of aluminium oxide Al2O3 is applied at a temperature of 85°C by atomic layer deposition. After that, a titanium-vanadium oxide nanofilm TiVOx with a thickness of 16 nm is applied by the method of atomic layer deposition.
EFFECT: providing a material with antibacterial properties on the surface of food packaging materials and increasing the shelf life of food products.
