SUBSTANCE: invention relates to locomotive bogie side bearing. Device for body support on railway vehicle bogie comprises bogie support and main frame support. Bogie support consists of an assembled support for attachment to the bogie frame, made of a welded base with a protruding fixing element on which a bushing is located, elastic elements with steel plates located on the base, and a slide. Slide includes a plate with a sleeve, on which there is a composite material for sliding. Main frame support consists of a body for attachment to the main frame, which is made with stops to limit the movement of the slider and a plate with an antifriction coating. Besides, there is a gap between the bushing of the support assembly and the sleeve of the slider, and the plate with antifriction coating of the main frame support and the composite material of the slider of the bogie support form a friction pair.
