SUBSTANCE: agricultural harvester, in particular a combine harvester or a forage harvester, comprises at least one working unit for harvesting and for treating an agricultural crop, control device comprising a measuring system located at least partially on a transport path of a crop for analysis of the structure and/or components of the crop. During operation of the harvesting machine, the agricultural crop is transported along the transport path of the agricultural crop through the harvesting machine in the crop flow. Measuring system has a first passive optical sensor for detecting light in the wavelength range in the field of view. In the process of measurement, the measuring system registers the image elements obtained from the first optical sensor in the specified wavelength range, which reflect the agricultural crop in the first array of the crop flow. Measuring system has a second non-passive-optical, in particular non-optical, sensor for recording data obtained from this sensor in the measurement field. In the process of measurement, the measuring system registers the measured values obtained from the second sensor, which reflect the agricultural crop in the second array of the crop flow. Harvester comprises an analyser for determining a parameter of a crop, particularly related to the structure and/or components of the crop. First and second arrays at least partially overlap each other in the overlapping array. Analyzer in the process of analysis correlates with each other image elements obtained from the first sensor in the overlap array, and the measured values obtained from the second sensor in the overlap array, and thus determines the crop parameter. Method for determining crop parameters during harvesting with an agricultural harvester, by means of which the crop is harvested and treated, wherein by means of optical measuring system performing measurement process for analysis of structure and/or components of agricultural crop and by means of the analyser, an analysis process is carried out to determine a parameter of a crop, particularly related to the structure and/or constituent parts of the crop.
